The MR468 standing seam roof system is designed to answer the most critical demands of modern large-span roofing: waterproofing, wind-uplift resistance, thermal expansion accommodation, and long service life with minimal maintenance.

Unlike conventional roof panels that rely on exposed fasteners or simple lap joints, MR468 uses a fully mechanical 360° seam lock, reinforced by automated butyl sealant applied inline. The result is a roof enclosure that maintains its performance integrity across extreme weather, wide temperature swings, and building settlement.

Eave

Gable End
•Split-design gable flashing: the outer cap rigidly overlaps the parapet inner panel, while the inner panel base is sealed with PE foam. The cap-to-roof panel connection uses a sliding overlap, allowing gable movement independent of the field panels.
Daylighting Strips
•Factory pre-formed steel edges on daylighting strips match the MR468 panel profile for a full 360° seam integration.
•Overlap ends are pre-punched; overlapping backing plates and aluminum alloy clamping strips with twin butyl tape lines provide the watertight seal.
•Vacuum-bonded double-layer FRP maintains long-term light transmission and dimensional stability.
Roof Penetrations (Skylights, MEP Curbs)
•Penetration curbs are factory-fabricated from 2.5 mm+ welded aluminum alloy with rigid insulation liner.
•Curb opening profile matches the MR468 panel rib — factory-formed, not field-cut.
